The HED Black Dog has the lowest drag factor of any of the HED aerobars. With a 5.5:1 aspect ratio the airflow stays attached to the wings of the base bar for as long as possible.
We offer the base bar with either dropped or horizontal (flat) wings. Some riders prefer to climb or accelerate off the line in an aerodynamic crouch; others like to put down their maximum power from a more upright position.

Newly designed to comply with the UCI's 3:1 aspect ratio rule, the HED Corsair aerobar's wings actually measure out at 2.96:1. As ever, we take it to the limit. Why give anything away that you don't have to?
Because most drag is caused by the rider, the HED Corsair is highly adjustable so that you can find your optimum aero position. With three axis extension adjustments, independent width adjustment, two riser kits and extensions available in single bend, S bend or Lazy S bend, we're giving you every chance to be the very best you can be.
The all-carbon multi-adjustable Delta Wing is the original HED aerobar and is the result of more than 50 hours of wind tunnel testing. Made from F1-grade carbon fibre, with a one-piece hand wrapped construction, the Delta Wing offered groundbreaking technology and was way ahead of the competition when we first unveiled it, and it is still a favourite of many riders looking for a race-proven aerobar with pro pedigree.
For maximum ride comfort and aerodynamics we built in integrated brake levers and made it completely adjustable in all planes, with uni-directional layering of the carbon-fibre helping absorb vibration for maximum ride comfort and ride control.
The HED Vantage Eight is the successor to the groundbreaking HED Aerobar, which was the original and best integrated aerobar/extension system when it was introduced. We've applied the knowledge and experience that makes our wheels the best in the world to the Vantage Eight.
With the Vantage Eight we have cut the weight right back, streamlined the stem clamp area and opened up the grips so that you can fit your own choice of brake levers - but the iconic wing shape of the original HED aerobar remains. The super-narrow profile is just wide enough to run a cable through.

Mounted to the end of the tri-bar using your existing shifter mount, the HED third brake lever means you can operate the front or rear brake - the third lever can be linked to either - without compromising your aerodynamics.
A cable splitter, included in the kit, weighs next to nothing and does not affect operation of the main brake lever - you decide which lever to use depending on the corner. The better your bike handling, the more you will benefit from the HED third brake lever.
Available for Shimano or Campagnolo bar-end shifters.
Originally developed for Lance Armstrong, the S bend allows for more leverage on drags, with the wrists dropped. Now probably the most common extension shape, we invented the S bend at HED.
Carbon S bend extensions: diameter 22 mm, total length 305mm, weight 100g per pair.
Note: If extension needs to be cut shorter, cut from the non-shifter end of the extension. Failure to do so will result in the shifter not fitting properly.
