Give yourself an advantage in bunch racing or against the clock with the versatile HED R1C frameset.

Stiff and lightweight enough to build into a very competitive road race machine, the R1C is equally at home with a time trial or tri set-up thanks to its aerodynamic rear wheel cut-out and multishaped tubing, made from 12D carbon fibre. The seat tube is set slightly steeper than many road frames for more efficient power transfer from a low-front-end position. A special carbon lay-up means strength in all the right places and frame weight of just a whisker over the kilo (size small).

The aero fork is all-carbon, including the steerer tube.

Two sets of bottle cage mounts are included, and the R1C has a braze-on front mech mount. The 1 1/8in headset is fully integrated.

The bottom bracket shell is English threaded and the seat tube takes a 31.6mm oversize seatpost.

We don't normally use price as a selling point - the price of HED products reflects the amount of research and development that has gone into them, not to mention the highest quality materials we use - but this frame is a bargain!
